HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 12pm today.

This includes Albemarle County, Charlottesville, Green County, Nelson County, Augusta County, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro, Highland County, and Rockingham County.

Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible today with a primary threat of damaging wind gusts.
