ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Rockingham County Fair 4-H and FFA Market Animal Show and Sale was a stellar success this year.

According to County Fair officials, the auction event raised $1.3 million dollars from the sale of 696 market animals, including lambs, steers, pigs, and goats. These animals were primarily purchased by local business owners who want to show their support for local young people. 

A social media post gave a big shout-out to all the volunteers who helped conduct the auction and work the show ring.
