AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Crews will be laying down new black top in Augusta County starting this week and into the summer months ahead.

Brian Baer from the Virginia Department of Transportation says, “in Augusta County, on Route 11-Lee Highway, expect northbound and southbound lane closures between Route 620-Spotswood Road and Route 1210-Spitler Circle for paving operations.”

Baer says the work will take place between about 5am and 8pm and continue through the end of June.

However, all work is weather is permitting, and schedules can change.
