RICHMOND VA: (Rocktown Now) – Virginia State Police released its weekly crime statistics.
In the last week, the law enforcement agency seized nearly 29 pounds of narcotics, and the total denied revenue from the seized narcotics was nearly 598-thousand dollars.
According to a news release, the breakdown of the narcotics recovered includes more than 16 pounds of marijuana, almost nine pounds of cocaine, nearly three pounds of methamphetamines and over a pound of fentanyl.
Spokesman Matt Demlein stated that the Virginia State Police remain steadfast in their mission to enhance public safety and uphold the laws throughout the Commonwealth while supporting the Governor’s initiatives on violent crime.
