HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Milling and paving operations will be taking place on Edom Road from North Liberty Street and Virginia Avenue, and North Liberty Street from Washington Street to the railroad tracks.

Harrisonburg Public Works reports that operations will begin on Monday, October 5, and are planned to be completed on Thursday, October 8. Work will take place between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. 

North Liberty Street will be down to one lane with flagging operations, and Edom Road will be closed to through traffic with flaggers assisting any traffic to the businesses on the street.  

Drivers are advised to use extra caution while traveling in this area.
