CROZET, VA (Rocktown Now) — An Albemarle County community will come together tonight to remember a boy who tragically died last week.
A memorial will be held tonight at the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department to remember Jordan Sims, the 12-year-old boy who was recently swept away by rising flood waters.
After an extensive search, Albemarle County Fire and Rescue officials announced last Wednesday that they had found Sims’ body in the area of Newtown Road just south of Crozet.
The memorial and drop-in family visitation is this evening from 5 till 7pm at the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department on Three Notch’d Road.
