HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Kids Castle Playground at Purcell Park will be temporarily closed on Monday for adjustments and repairs.

Playground specialists will be working on the slides and some other odds and ends that need adjustments after feedback from the first two weeks of usage.

Officials say they expect the work to last no longer than through the day Tuesday and will make an announcement as soon as the playground is back open to the public.
