HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — A woman was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by two men in Harrisonburg over the weekend.
According to Juliana McGrath with the Harrisonburg Police Department, a call came in around 6 o’clock Saturday evening regarding an armed robbery in the 100-block of Lewis Street.
“The woman who lives in the apartment reported that there were two men who came in armed with guns and stole jewelry from her. One of them left on a moped and one of them left in a vehicle.”
McGrath reports that no one was injured in the incident, and the perpetrators are still at large.
Major crimes detectives are actively investigating the case.
