HARRISONBURG VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance will host their annual Independence Day Fireworks show on Saturday, July 5, beginning at 9:00pm.
Before the fireworks show, there is free, family-friendly live music at the Turner Pavilion Lawn as part of the Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series starting at 7:00pm.
If you’re planning on attending the fireworks display, there are several viewing locations in and around Downtown Harrisonburg that are optimal for viewing:
- Turner Pavilion and Park, 228 South Liberty Street (look West)
- Food Maxx International Market, 924 West Market Street
- JMU Memorial Hall Parking Lots, 395 South High Street
- Thomas Harrison Middle School, 1311 West Market Street
- Westside Baptist Church, 715 West Wolfe Street
- Harrisonburg High School, 1001 Garber’s Church Road
