HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Gas prices in Virginia are up nearly four cents in the last week, according to a GasBuddy survey of more than 4,000 stations across the commonwealth.
Prices are 13 cents per gallon higher than this time last month, averaging $3.50 per gallon on Monday.

In the Harrisonburg market, prices at the pump ranged between $3.44 and $3.49 earlier today.

The national average for gas has also risen more than three cents in the last week, averaging $3.60 per gallon today. That is about 14 cents higher than a month ago.

The national average for diesel fell by a penny to $4.01 per gallon.
