WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — Four teens were arrested last month for allegedly breaking into vehicles, damaging property, and stealing a vehicle.

Waynesboro Police report that they received multiple reports on June 10 and 11 about vehicle break-ins, damaged property, and a stolen vehicle in the areas of the 600 block of S. Linden Ave, the 600 block of S. Magnolia Ave, and the 400 block of S. Poplar Ave.

After a lengthy investigation, Waynesboro Police Department Detectives say they were able to identify four juvenile suspects, as well as recover the stolen vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, the four juveniles were charged with the following violations of the code of Virginia:

• Juvenile 1: §18.2-102 Unauthorized use (1 felony count)

• Juvenile 2: §18.2-95 Grand Larceny (1 felony count), §18.2-137 Injuring, Etc., any property monument, etc. (1 felony count)

• Juvenile 3: §18.2-102 Unauthorized use (1 felony count)

• Juvenile 4: §18.2-102 Unauthorized use (1 felony count), §18.2-137 Injuring, Etc., any property, monument, etc. (2 felony counts, 1 misdemeanor count)
