HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Dominion Energy is providing free fans and air conditioners for seniors who may need additional cooling in their homes this summer.

The 2026 Senior Cool Care Program is open to adults 60 years-old and older with an adjusted gross income at or below the federal poverty level, which is about $1,900 per month for one person and $2,700 per month for two.

Area seniors in need of free fans or AC units should contact the Valley Program for Aging Service now through October 31st.

The program is on a first-come, first-served basis.
