BRIDGEWATER, Va. (BC Athletics) – The NCAA Division III baseball All-Region honorees were announced Tuesday from D3baseball.com and Bridgewater’s Nick Stavros and Zack Chadwell both earned All-Region recognition.

Stavros, who was the ODAC Player of the Year this season, collected yet another honor being placed on the All-Region First Team. Stavros (Stony Point, N.Y.) maintained a remarkable season batting average, leading the conference with a .435 average. Stavros also held the second-most hits recorded in a season in program history (74).

Zack Chadwell (Chesapeake, Va.) turned in an impressive junior season. The designated hitter brought in All-ODAC First Team honors while landing an ODAC Player of the Week accolade. Chadwell broke the school record in a season for most walks (42) while also tying for the second-most runs batted in in a season (59) in the program. Chadwell sent 16 long balls out of the ballpark along with a .393 season batting average.
