WEYERS CAVE, VA (Rocktown Now) — A watermain break led to the cancelation of on-campus classes today at Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave.
According to BRCC’s Director of Public Relations Bridget Baylor, a watermain break in the Armstrong Hall administrative building requires water service to be shut off campus-wide while repairs are being made.
Baylor says students who had in-person classes scheduled for today are receiving communication and instruction online via the college’s “Canvas” Learning Management System.
The cause of the waterline rupture has not yet been released.
The campus is expected to reopen 7:45 tomorrow morning.
