Governor Glenn Youngkin was in the valley Friday afternoon. His first stop was in Waynesboro for the groundbreaking of the new Northrop Gumman facility.

The 314-thousand square foot building will be located on Town Center Drive behind the Target Shopping Center.

Youngkin says the investment will produce over 300 jobs and cost over 200 million dollars.

The facility is scheduled to open next year and ready for production in 2026.
