Governor Glenn Youngkin announced Friday morning nearly three million dollars in Growth and Opportunity for Virginia grant awards for eight projects that are aimed at fostering talent development, economic acceleration and regional industry growth.
One of those GO grants is for over 395-thousand dollars to The Shenandoah Community Capital Fund, which serves Harrisonburg, Staunton and Waynesboro as well as Augusta and Shenandoah Counties.
The grant will increase the success rate of growth-oriented start-ups in the valley by providing customized business incubation services, which will include validation stage development services, a physical working location hub and will connect entrepreneurs to resources.
