The Timberville man arrested in December after a 19-hour standoff with police is set to go before a judge today.
According to online records, Joshua Ryan Litten is scheduled for a status hearing at 10 o’clock in Shenandoah County Circuit Court. A grand jury returned five indictments against him during a June 13th hearing.
Those charges include include three counts of attempted malicious wounding of a law enforcement officer, following a standoff in December at Perry Trailer Park Road near Mount Jackson.
Authorities allege that Litten produced a firearm and fired shots from inside the home as they tried to negotiate with him.
The now-38-year-old eventually surrendered and remains in custody.
