HARRISONBURG VA: (WSVA) For a third time, Sentara R-M-H has received one one of the nation’s highest nursing credentials.
Hospital spokesperson Bob Grebe announced that Sentara was named a Magnet institution by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The Magnet designation is a prestigious label that’s earned after a “rigorous and thorough evaluation” of a healthcare organization’s nursing corps. It’s awarded to institutions with the highest quality of patient care and nursing standards.
In a release, Sentara R-M-H President Doug Moyer said that receiving the Magnet label for a third time is a “remarkable achievement.”
