This year’s holiday turkey could cost less than it did last year.
U-S-D-A livestock analyst Shayle Shagam is reporting that turkey supplies are up and prices are down.
Shagam adds that judging from the current wholesale prices that stores are paying for their turkeys, shoppers are likely to pay a good deal less.
But remember, there is still over a month to go before Thanksgiving.

That is 34 percent lower to be exact and Shagam said shoppers could see an even bigger bargain if retailers elect to reduce prices further in an effort to get more folks in the store to buy other items for that holiday meal.
