STAUNTON VA (WSVA) – A couple of Staunton residents have been named to statewide roles as part of Governor Glenn Youngkin’s latest round of administration and board appointments.
In a release, Youngkin’s office announced that LaSonya Jackson, a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, is joining the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Vision Impaired.
Jackson works with a commonwealth agency that helps folks with poor or no vision obtain employment, education, and independence.
Meanwhile, Andrew Wylie was appointed to the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board.
He owns and operates Consumers Auto Warehouse – an all-in-one vehicle sales, rental, and repair service in the Queen City.
