Liquor lovers, listen up: Virginia A-B-C is changing weekday operating hours for 155 of its stores across the state, including six here in the Valley.

According to data provided by A-B-C, locations in Elkton, Fishersville, Woodstock, Timberville, Strasburg and Stuarts Draft are now closing at 7 o’clock Monday through Saturday. Previously, those stores had remained open through 9 each evening.

New Sunday operating hours for all stores are now noon until 6.

A-B-C says the move is meant to maximize efficiency while prioritizing customer service.
