The man accused of shooting into a vehicle in Harrisonburg back in August will now face a grand jury.

According to online records, three felony charges against Timothy Leach of Fayetteville, North Carolina, were certified to a grand jury during a hearing in General District Court. One of those charges is malicious wounding.

The 43-year-old Leach allegedly fired multiple shots into a vehicle at the intersection of East Market Street and Linda Lane during the evening of August 20th.

The victim, another 43-year-old man, had to be flown to U-V-A Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Leach remains in custody.
