An inmate who escaped from Virginia Department of Corrections officers during a mid-August hospital visit has been recaptured.
VADOC officials said in a release that Naseem Roulack was taken into custody around 9 o’clock yesterday morning by U-S Marshals and Fairfax County police.
While limited information has been released, the 21-year-old fugitive was reportedly arrested after jumping from a third-floor window at a Springfield hotel as police were entering, injuring himself in the fall.
Roulack had been serving a 13-year sentence at a Greensville prison on multiple charges, including malicious wounding and grand larceny.
After his escape, Roulack allegedly burglarized a home in Richmond and carjacked an individual in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
