RICHMOND VA:  (WSVA) – An annual tradition continues this afternoon when Governor Glenn Youngkin delivers this year’s State of the Commonwealth address.
According to the governor’s office, the speech is set for four o’clock at the state capitol building in Richmond.
The governor is expected to continue touting his proposed income tax breaks for every Virginian, and other provisions included in a possible two-year budget that must be approved this year.
Although customary for governors to feature special guests who have benefitted from their policies, Youngkin has not announced plans to highlight anyone in particular this afternoon.
The speech comes just hours after the start of this year’s 60-day legislative session in the General Assembly.
