Two years ago, Governor Glenn Youngkin used a vest to help convince Virginians to vote. This year, he’s using a bus to convince folks to vote early.
The political action committee Spirit of Virginia, which supports the governor, said that a bus tour is now underway in the commonwealth that aims to promote early voting opportunities.
The group says that after a kickoff event yesterday in Suffolk, the governor will join the bus at several stops as it makes a “heavy push” across Virginia through the first day of early voting on September 22nd.
There’s no word yet on if the bus will visit the Shenandoah Valley.
