Average gasoline prices in Virginia fell over seven cents a gallon in the last week and begin the new work week average $3.38 a gallon.
That is according to GasBuddy’s survey of nearly 41-hundred stations across the commonwealth.
Prices in Virginia are 21 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 18 cents per gallon lower than this time last year. Those prices are also 17 cents a gallon below the national average.
Incidentally, prices in Virginia range from as low as $2.89 a gallon while the most expensive gas was $4.47a gallon, a difference of $1.58 a gallon.
