Deb Fitzgerald has announced that she will not seek re-election to the Harrisonburg City School Board when her term expires at the end of next year.

Fitzgerald, who currently serves as chair of the school board, is currently in her second term and she talked about her proudest moment while on the board.

Also, school board member Tom Domonoske, who is currently finishing out the term of Nick Swayne, reportedly has announced that he will not seek the seat full-time in next year’s election.
