The Frederick County sheriff has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a grisly double homicide earlier this year.
In a release, Sheriff Lenny Milholland said that Jason Bowen, of Cross Junction, was taken into custody Wednesday at the sheriff’s office on two counts of second-degree murder.
This comes after 49-year-old Joshua Daniel Carter and 40-year-old Pamela Marie Lowande were found dead on April 20th inside a home on Fromans Road, in what Milholland called a “brutal slaying.”
Both individuals were coworkers of Bowen.
According to court records, he will appear in general district court for a preliminary hearing on July 28th.
