The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office says one person has been arrested in connection with a pill that was found in a student’s vehicle on school property several weeks ago.
Sheriff Tim Carter said in a video that following a joint investigation by his office and the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force, Dylan Christopher Whitmoyer was arrested last week in Prince William County on one count each of distributing and conspiring to distribute fentanyl.

Carter said that more arrests may be coming as the investigation unfolds.
The 23-year-old Whitmoyer has an arraignment hearing set for this Friday in Shenandoah County General District Court.
