The Bridgewater College softball team locked up the No. 2 seed for the upcoming ODAC Softball Tournament beginning on Saturday in Salem.
Payton List notched four no-hit innings as Kylee Gleason and James Madison softball put up its second consecutive double-digit hitting effort to score five runs on 11 hits for the 5-2 win and secure the series against the Chanticleers.
Inclement weather suspended the series opener between James Madison and No. 21 Coastal Carolina on Friday, resuming Saturday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Park. After playing 11 innings, the Chanticleers won, 9-2, before earning a 14-4 run-rule win in game two.
