DAYTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — An event and retreat center are coming to the Dayton area.
At last night’s Rockingham County Board of Supervisors meeting, a special use permit was approved to transform a barn that had been sitting empty for 12 years into an event and retreat center for the nonprofit LifeLink.
Michael and Tracy Zimmerman, founders of LifeLink, said at the meeting that the building would allow them to give back to those who have given to them. They would host group seminars and group therapy there as well.
The barn is in the area of Waggys Creek Road and Clover Hill Road and is about 9,000 square feet. The facility, once transformed, would be open from 6am to 11pm.
