HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Police Department will be setting up at the Valley Mall in front of Books-A-Million in Harrisonburg for this year’s DEA National Drug Takeback Day. The event will be Saturday, April 27th from 9am-1pm.

HPD is partnering with the Community Services Board to collect and dispose of expired or unused medications. More information can be found at DEATakeBack.com.

The CSB said this provides a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of unwanted or expired prescription drugs.
