ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va — The Rockingham County woman who was accused of embezzling money from the Cub Run Elementary School Parent Teacher Association did not have her preliminary hearing as scheduled.
Elizabeth Nicole Taylor of McGaheysville was scheduled to appear in General District Court on Wednesday morning for the hearing on her charge of embezzlement of over a thousand dollars.
However, online records show that both sides agreed to continue the hearing until May 22nd.
Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson confirmed that Taylor, who was treasurer of the organization at the time, was arrested on November 6th.
She is currently free on bond.
