Richard Allen Martin, 69, of Rockingham, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024.

Mr. Martin was born on September 20, 1954 and was a son of the late Oscar Jay and Blanche Virginia Knicely Martin. He was a lifelong farmer, ordained as a minister on May 27, 1990 and a member of the Old Order Mennonite Church.

On November 4, 1976, he married Bernice Amanda Wenger who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Aaron Martin and wife Miriam, Fred Martin and wife Julie, all of Rockingham; eight grandchildren, one great-grandson; one brother, Roy L. Martin of Rockingham; two sisters, Ellen (David) Horst, and Mary Martin, both of Dayton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, and a sister-in-law, Lois Martin.
