ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Bridge of Hope Harrisonburg-Rockingham was awarded the Division II Top Benchmark Award during the Bridge of Hope National Annual Conference, held September 30 through October 2 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
According to Executive Director Heidi Hoover, this prestigious award recognizes Bridge of Hope Harrisonburg-Rockingham’s achievement in reaching 100% of 11 or more of the 14 national program benchmarks.
In addition to receiving the Division II Top Benchmark Award, Bridge of Hope Harrisonburg-Rockingham also received the Covenant Achievement Award, honoring network locations that achieved two key benchmarks: matching 100% of families with Neighboring Volunteers and training 100% of Neighboring Volunteers within 60 days of program entry.
These achievements reportedly reflect the theme of this year’s national conference: “Hope Can’t Wait: Building Home Through Church and Community.”
“The team at Bridge of Hope Harrisonburg-Rockingham exemplifies what happens when excellence, compassion and unwavering commitment come together. Winning the Top Benchmark Award is more than an achievement of numbers. It reflects lives changed, families strengthened, and a team that consistently goes above and beyond to advance the mission of ending family homelessness” said Melissa Diem, Bridge of Hope National Chief Mission Officer.
