HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — A section of Acorn Drive between Virginia Avenue/Route 42 and Liberty Street will be closed to through traffic for much of the day starting around 9 a.m. for emergency railroad repairs by Norfolk Southern.

Harrisonburg Public Works says drivers will be able to reach locations on either side of the tracks depending on what direction they approach, but will not be able to cross the tracks.

A notice will be posted once Harrisonburg Public Works receives an update from the rail company about the work being completed
