STAUNTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — Several roads are closed today across the City of Staunton as Columbia Gas crews wrap up an infrastructure upgrade project that began back in February.

City officials say the gas line work will shut down portions of North Drive, Terrace Street, and Selma Boulevard.

There will also be alternating one-way traffic on Springhill Road between Cherry Hill Drive and Westover Drive.

Drivers will see traffic impacted in those areas all day, from 7 o’clock this morning to 5 o’clock this afternoon.

More localized closures are expected in the coming weeks as work on the project officially concludes.
