ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The West Virginia man who was arrested in June on a stalking charge in Broadway was sentenced to a month in jail.

According to online records, Langdon Lee Price of Mathias was found guilty on one of the three charges he faced during a hearing Monday afternoon in Rockingham County General District Court.

A judge then sentenced the 61-year-old Price to 12 months in jail with 11 of those months suspended.

Broadway Police Corporal Carsen Frey explained that on June 15th, authorities received a report of a man yelling at the back door of a house located on Elm Street.

“He was threatening the individual that owned the house — that he was going to come after him and come inside the home,” Frey said. “He then left and then he came back to the home again. He did have a handgun when he came back to the home.”

Price added that after viewing security footage, Price was identified as the suspect and he was arrested the next day thanks to tips from the community.
