HARRISONBURG, Va. (EMU Athletics) – New EMU Women’s Basketball Coach Tori Jankoska has finalized her staff for her first season at the helm of the Royals. Joining her on the bench this year as assistant coaches will be Travis Muntz and Marsha Justice.

“I am thrilled to welcome Travis Muntz to our EMU Women’s Basketball family,” Jankoska said. “Travis brings tremendous collegiate coaching experience and a wealth of knowledge in scouting, recruiting, player development, and basketball operations. He is someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership, and make an immediate impact. Most importantly, Travis is a great person who cares about people and winning. We are excited to have him on our staff and can’t wait to see the impact he makes on our program and student-athletes.”

Muntz comes to EMU from SUNY Jamestown where he was the assistant women’s basketball coach since 2025. During his time with the Jayhawks, he assisted with practice planning, player development and opponent scouting. He was also responsible for recruiting. Prior to his time in NY, he was the assistant video coordinator with the University of Maryland’s women’s basketball team. The Terrapins reached the Sweet 16 and achieved a Top-12 national ranking in his time in College Park. He also has extensive DIII coaching experience, with stops at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Knox College and Nebraska Wesleyan. He earned his B.A. in history from WVU and his M.S. in Sports Management from California University of Pennsylvania.

“I am extremely excited to come to EMU and working with Tori,” Muntz said. “Tori brings a wealth of knowledge and such an impressive history within the college basketball world, both as a player and coach, I am very honored to be on her inaugural staff and having the opportunity to build something special here in Harrisonburg. Competing in such a strong DIII conference as the ODAC, is something I am very much looking forward to as well.”

Justice is no stranger to the ODAC, as she was an assistant women’s basketball coach at nearby Bridgewater College under coaches Sarah Mathews, Jason Asbell and, most recently, Stephanie Flamini. She played her high school basketball locally at Fort Defiance, giving her a strong background with the Shenandoah Valley. She played a season of DI basketball at Liberty University where she later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth Ministry. Along with her collegiate experience, Justice also has coaching experience at the Prep and AAU levels.

“I am incredibly excited to welcome Marsha Justice to our EMU Women’s Basketball family,” Jankoska stated. “Marsha brings a wealth of coaching experience and has been part of successful programs throughout the ODAC. She brings a strong understanding of recruiting, player development, academics, and the day-to-day work that goes into building a successful program. Just as importantly, Marsha is a relationship builder who connects naturally with student-athletes and families and brings invaluable knowledge of the area. We are fortunate to have her on our staff, and I am excited about the experience, energy, perspective, and character she will bring to our program and our student-athletes both on and off the court.”
