HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) -A cold front has moved through the Shenandoah Valley, bringing cooler temperatures, lower humidity, and breezy northwest winds. While a few isolated sprinkles are possible, most areas will remain dry with a mix of sunshine and scattered fair-weather clouds. Comfortable conditions will continue into Monday and Tuesday as high pressure settles over the region, keeping humidity low and temperatures generally in the 70s to lower 80s during the day, with overnight lows in the 50s and 60s.
By midweek, winds will shift to the south, allowing warmer and more humid air to return to the Valley. Temperatures will gradually climb back to seasonal late-August levels, with highs reaching the 80s and some locations nearing 90 degrees by Thursday. An approaching cold front late in the week will bring increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms, ending the stretch of dry weather and ushering in a more unsettled pattern heading into next weekend.
