AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary that occurred in January 2026. Several juveniles and adults have been charged in connection with this investigation.

Charged are:

• 35-year-old Donald Lynn Marshall of Staunton — Breaking and Entering and 5 counts of Grand Larceny.

• 38-year-old Nicole L. Kieber of Middlebrook — Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Obtaining Money by False Pretenses.

A $50,000 reward has now been offered for the return of property that was stolen during this burglary.

Anyone who has information regarding the location of the stolen property or information that may assist investigators is encouraged to contact the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office at 540-245-5333.

The items described below were stolen from a private residence in Middlebrook, Augusta County. The owner of the stolen items offers a private reward for information leading to their return, subject to the terms and conditions below.

Terms & Conditions

• The information must be provided to the Augusta County Sherriff’s Office on or before December 1, 2026.

• The information must lead to the actual return of at least one of the items listed below to the offeror; offeror shall have no obligation unless and until offeror regains physical possession of a listed item.

• The person claiming the reward must be identified by the Augusta County Sherriff’s Office as an individual who provided information leading to the return of the item corresponding to the claimed reward.

• In the event that more than one individual provides information leading to the return of a listed item, those individuals will be entitled to an equal share of the total reward corresponding to the listed item, the total not to exceed the maximum rewards listed below.

• If offeror pays the maximum reward amount for any item listed below to any individual(s), no other person shall be entitled to recover an additional reward for the same item.

• The maximum reward amounts listed below are subject to revision in the offeror’s discretion based on the condition of the property at the time the offeror regains physical possession, such revisions shall be in offeror’s sole discretion.

• This offer of reward creates no obligation on the part of the Augusta County Sherriff’s Office to any person claiming to be entitled to payment of a reward; the offer is made solely by a private offeror.

• No person shall contact the offeror under any circumstances, and any such contact shall be grounds for revocation of any reward.

• Notwithstanding any other provision of this offer, no reward will be paid if offeror does not regain physical possession of the item for which an award is claimed, for whatever reason, before December 31, 2027.

• As a condition of payment for any reward, any and all individuals claiming to be entitled to the reward must execute a release, in a form acceptable to offeror, of all claims against offeror in excess of the amount offeror agrees is due to the claimant; offeror shall have no obligation to any person unless and until such a release is executed.

Subject to the Terms & Conditions above, offeror offers to pay the indicated maximum amounts for information leading to the recovery of the following items:

• Mercury Dimes – $1.00 per piece, up to 17,600 pieces.
