ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Hot off the heels of Governor Abigail Spanberger’s visits to Harrisonburg and Verona on Tuesday, Attorney General Jay Jones made a stop in the area as well.
Jones met with administrators at Sentara RMH Wednesday afternoon to get a closer look at what improves and what limits rural healthcare access across the Commonwealth.
Citing conversations with caregivers that included concerns over gaps in technology and education, Jones stated that from annual check-ups to emergency care, no Virginian should have to travel for hours to get medical care.
