Update: One lane of Interstate 81 north bound has reopened, following an accident near Weyers Cave Wednesday. The accident, reported at 2:59 p.m., closed the interstate for over two hours, after the driver of a tractor trailer, lost control and the truck flipped over, blocking both northbound lanes.

Virginia State Police are investigating the accident, which involved multiple vehicles.

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — All northbound lanes of interstate 81 are currently closed at mile marker 238. This is due to an overturned tractor trailer.
