HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Active Shooter training will be taking place at Rocktown High School on Wednesday.

The Harrisonburg Police Department will begin the training at 8am which will involve several emergency vehicles in the area.

Police say lights and sirens could be engaged but not to worry.

The training takes place yearly and officials say it is necessary to ensure proper response and collaboration should a mass casualty incident occur.
