MOUNT CRAWFORD, VA (Rocktown Now) — Cave Comedy Fest will return to Melrose Caverns for the fifth year on Saturday, July 25.

Presented in partnership with The Funny Womacks, the event transforms the historic show cave into an underground comedy venue, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy stand-up performances surrounded by ancient limestone formations and Civil War-era history.

Unlike a traditional comedy club, Cave Comedy Fest takes place inside Melrose Caverns, where visitors can experience the cave’s natural formations and view a rare collection of Civil War-era signatures preserved on the cave walls.

This year’s entertainment lineup includes nationally touring comedian Mark Riccadonna alongside The Funny Womacks. Outside the cave, guests can enjoy live music from Kelly May and Crystal Armentrout, food from Early Katering Company, craft beer from Cave Hill Farms Brewery and ice cream from Branch’s Ice Cream.
