HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – Area residents may be waking up to blinking alarm clocks this morning as a widespread power outage turned out the lights last night in Rockingham County.
Shortly after midnight, Dominion Energy reported that over 6,300 customers were out of service, affecting customers throughout the County, including Bridgewater, Dayton, west of Harrisonburg along Route 33, Cloverhill, Mount Solon, and even into Pleasant Valley.
By 3 o’clock this morning, the energy company notified those impacted that utility crews had cleared all outages in the region.
