WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – UPDATE (2:29 PM): The Waynesboro Police Department is investigating a reported homicide at the 600 block of Ivanhoe Avenue.
On June 27, 2026, at approximately 7:33 a.m., officers with the Waynesboro Police Department responded to the 600 block of Ivanhoe Avenue for a report of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male with injuries consistent with blunt force trauma.
The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Benjamin G. Dailey of Waynesboro.
