ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A public hearing regarding a proposal to apply Community Development Block Grant funding to a Community Service Facility renovation will be held at next week’s meeting of the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors.

The project involves developing the Briery Branch Community Center into a multi-use community center and childcare facility that will provide spaces for residents to gather while supporting toddler daycare.

A fact sheet on the proposed project and the draft proposal is currently available at the Rockingham County Administration Center on East Gay Street in Harrisonburg.

The meeting will take place at the same location next Wednesday night at 7.
