WEYERS CAVE, VA (Rocktown Now) — Valley residents and gardening enthusiasts are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring during Heritage Acres’ Open House and Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 2.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Heritage Acres, located at 8089 Greenhouse Road in Weyers Cave.

Visitors will have the opportunity to shop for a wide variety of seasonal favorites, including tomatoes, herbs, flowers and many other plants to help kick off the gardening season.

As part of the celebration, guests can enjoy a free Redbanks hot dog, freshly grilled by Redbanks Custom Cuts, while supplies last.

Customers who make a purchase will also be eligible to register for several door prizes. The grand prize includes two Redbanks sirloin steaks. Additional prizes include a 12-inch hanging basket from Heritage Acres, a 4-inch plant of the winner’s choice paired with snack sticks from Redbanks, and a third prize of snack sticks from Redbanks.

Heritage Acres is encouraging families and garden lovers to attend, browse plants, and enjoy a day dedicated to spring planting and community appreciation.
