VERONA, Va – Augusta County residents will have a little more time to sound off during the public comment portion of the Board of Supervisors’ meeting.
During Wednesday night’s meeting, supervisors voted to extend the time limit for a speaker from three minutes to four minutes.
The vote was 5-0 with Scott Seaton abstaining because he did not want any time limit on a speaker.
Earlier in the meeting, Seaton made a motion to remove the time limit altogether, but it failed on a 5-1 vote.
